The Brief
Design a prototype showing how a digital credit card solution could be best executed justified by design decisions — from the landing page to comparing to applying for a credit card.
The Solution
By building an in-app credit card application experience, the company (TellCo with an eWallet service) can capitalise on converting existing eWallet users into using and applying for the new credit card service.
Our team identified design decisions during the research that produces business impact.
Display relevant information only and follow best practices to build users' trust and confidence with the app.
Clear and organized information in the tab for card details to lessen cognitive load and increase customer satisfaction.
Autofills and drop down menus to lessen user errors and reduce cost for customer care.
Provide different methods for flexible processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Use of progress bar is an effective conversion strategy as it urges users to complete the application by showing how close they are to the finish line therefore minimising form abandonment.
By providing proactive and reactive help at the end of the application journey, this reduce the number of repetitive and simple enquiries, such application status, to the customer care team.
